Meet my - soon to be your - newest video platform crush!
Tangi (TeAch Nd GIve) is Google’s new short video platform – geared beautifully for on-the-go creatives!
The entire site – now also available on an amazing mobile app – is full of ideas, hacks, how-to’s, and tutorials! And the best part….? They’re all available in videos 1-2 minutes (or less) in length!
This site is your new BEST friend if you're still stuck in a semi-quarantine like we are in my area - but the videos will be useful forever!
As introduced by Tangi platform founder Coco Mao in an interview published by Techcrunch,
“We only focus on DIY and creativity content,” explains Tangi founder, Coco Mao. “Our platform’s goal is to help people learn to craft, cook and create with quick one-minute videos. We designed Tangi to make it easier for users to find a lot of high-quality how-to videos.”
For new users:
Tangi’s engineers build the entire platform with you in mind! Create an account and start searching – or just watching and let the site learn what you like! Learn everything from easy no-mess guac hacks to creative cake decorating ideas to nail art to interior design and decorating – all at your fingertips in easy-to-digest idea videos!
- Watch videos – from your main page, or view videos within categories (e.g. Food/baking/cooking, art, crafts, fashion, DIY, decor, lifestyle, parenting) – and gather ideas and inspiration to your heart’s content!
-Bookmark videos to return to later – this feature ensures you won’t leave the gather supplies and have to search for your idea video again!
- Once you’ve tried out your new idea, share it! Easily upload your photo or even a short video to show what you did and how beautifully it turned out!
For video creators:
Newer creators like myself (<100 followers) can upload videos up to one minute in length, and more established users (>100 followers) can upload videos up to 2 minutes!
If you’re a newer video creator, this is the perfect time – and the perfect platform – for you to start! Tangi’s community of other encouraging creators is in my experience unrivaled, and it only becomes a better and better platform for creators and users alike as more and more people continue using it!
